Reactions to Red Bus Project at Lindsey Wilson:

Hey! I've been helping out with the Red Bus Project all day to day and I have seriously had a ton of fun. This has by far been the coolest event we have had on campus here at Lindsey Wilson College. They are not only taking everyone's unworn clothes off of their hands but they sell them to help orphans with all the money. I helped at an Orphanage in Romania a few years ago and it was very important to me. I am so glad to see a group like this travel around working for such a great cause. PLUS They have a band with them which I just can't wait to listen to. Well that's all for now. gotta go help some more. I don't want to miss out!!!

My experience with the Red Bus Project has been exciting and new. I had never heard of it before, but I was glad to hear what it was about. It is a good cause - helping with orphanages. It even made my day better when I found out it was based out of Tennessee because I'm a Tennessean. I helped from the time the bus got to my campus, and the people are amazing. It's been nice getting to know them a bit. The clothes are good. This is definitely a thrift store! I love it, and I hope to be able to help again sometime.

Today I had the great and amazing opportunity to be able to work with the Red Bus Project that teamed up with Show Hope. This opportunity was neat because it opened my eyes up to what organizations are doing to help with the orphans and their care. I have seen, today, how aware we as people need to be about this worldwide issue and epidemic.

The reactions I have seen through the workers and the students that have participated in this event has been incredible. When I first heard about this event my first reactions were that I couldn't believe that an organization like this even existed. I think it is wonderful that something is being done to make people aware of the issue of orphans around the world.
