RBP at Samford

Being involved with events at Samford, I was in a meeting when someone showed me the video explaining the Red Bus Project. I knew then that I wanted to help spread the word about this event coming to our campus.

I was first exposed to international adoption when I was in middle school, and a family I babysat for decided to adopt two kids from Haiti. Over a period of three years, we prayed and prayed for God to guide the adoption process, and for each step in the process, He provided. But I learned that the process is not easy. Families who decide to take part in the journey need support. And the children who are expectantly waiting need our love.

It couldn't have been a more perfect day when the bus pulled up on campus. With not a cloud in the sky, the set up began, and throughout the day, people couldn't help but stop and ask, "What is this?" People came, learned, and shopped - all for a great cause.
